Del Lago Golf Course in Vail is no longer open for regular play. If you were a weekly player there, your two questions are probably "where do I play now?" and "where do I keep working on my game?" — the course list below answers the first, and the studio answers the second.
Lessons never stopped. Vail Golf Academy still coaches every week out of its own studio in Vail — single lessons, packages, junior development, and beginner programs. You don't have to drive across Tucson to get coached.

The practical everyday pick. Desert-style muni on our side of town, fair rates, and the shortest drive on this list for most Vail golfers.
03Pueblo Del Sol Country Club
~1 hr from VailSierra Vista
Worth planning a morning around. Tree-lined, mountain views, and a different feel from the desert layouts closer to home.
04San Pedro Golf Course
~30–35 min from VailBenson
An easy straight shot east on I-10. Wide-open and forgiving enough to be a great place to take a swing change out for a test drive.
05Arizona National Golf Club
~30–40 min from VailNortheast Tucson
The real test on this list. Higher price and higher difficulty — bring your A game and enjoy the views either way.
